SeeSearchWords highlights search words used in DotNetNuke searches, and searches done at Google, MSN, Yahoo and Ask. SeeSearchWords highlights search words in bold red on a yellow background, with an information header at the top of the page.

To install SeeSearchWords, unzip the download into a clean directory. Upload phdcc.fis.Find.dll and phdcc.SeeSearchWords.dll into the DNN bin directory. Add the following line in the DNN root Web.Config file, just before :

This software is free to use. A retail version is available - this lets you customise the highlighting, add navigation arrows, change/remove the SeeSearchWords header, use different word stemming rules and support further search engines.

No registration required to download, comment or rate SeeSearchWords. Please register on the site if you want to receive update notifications.
Source not included. This is not a DNN Private Assembly (PA). Tested in DNN 3.0.13 and 3.1.0 with Friendly URLs on and off. Also works in DNN 4.

Full release dated: 18 April 2008 (phdccData180408.zip) Unzip in a clean directory and then install the following individual DNN4 Private Assembly (PA) zip files. Your database must be SQL Server 2005.

phdcc.Data is a set of DNN 4 modules that aims to provide good programmable data handling for DotNetNuke-based systems. Example usage of profile data entry, list and search:

  1. Many users login and each fill in a form giving their details, using phdcc.Data.Form
  2. Others want to look through this information so they enter a search request, using phdcc.Data.Search
  3. Multiple hits are displayed to the user, using phdcc.Data.List
  4. Clicking on a single result shows full details, using phdcc.Data.View

phdcc.CodeModule

Version 01.00.02, 16 January 2008. Includes the VB source. Freeware. DNN4 private assembly (PA) zip file. Please acknowledge PHDCC.

phdcc.CodeModule provides a simple way to add your own program code (and custom HTML) to a DNN site without having to write a full module or resort to using an IFRAME. Write your own ASP.NET/DNN code and HTML in a simple ascx user control - have it displayed by phdcc.CodeModule. Be careful who has access to this powerful functionality.
